I don't think there's a summon in FF I haven't liked. They've always been able to have some kind of magical quality for me. I remember Ixion just floored me for some reason though, some kind of cool electric unicorn.

Alexander is basically just a big building shooting lasers, so its design gives room for variations, but if you change the other summons, it'd be pretty hard to recognize them. I mean, what makes Bahamut Bahamut, and sets it aside from normal dragons, if not that one particular design?
