Finished the J version a few weeks ago. It's OK overall. Despite their total stiffness in presentation, the characters are developed pretty well. Game mechanics aren't too deep but some fights and enemy groupings can be acceptably challenging if you don't bother to grind (which is easy to avoid doing).
I purchased that LE for about that same price and would say it's mostly justified in that it comes with the music CD, and the BGM is one of the game's highest strengths.
If you're looking to buy this game for its story or the romance between Annas and Ryu (not looking up their E names), you will be disappointed.
