I thoroughly enjoyed Twilight Princess, but it ended up being my last zelda. The ones after it never caught my attention enough to get me to buy more Wii games, and I didn't even know the Wii U was a separate console. I thought it was like the Kinect for the 360. The game doesn't urge you at all to train more than one pokémon, on my first game I just used my cyndaquill only and I never had to stop and train or use another pokémon because typhlosion would just quick-attack everything dead in one hit.

I like breaking appendages but they really could have made locking onto different appendages more graceful.
It's fine when you're in a mech and you can just fly around to the appendage you want to break but not all appendages are open to the mech and then you have to move to ground combat and in ground combat you've got to jump around, wiggle the camera around, jump up a wall, spin around in circles if you want to get the game to decide to lock onto the appendage you want to break.
It's MMO combat, and the character building is fun and full of depth and customization. The combat itself is more or less like the previous game, sure chain attacks are out but you've got overdrive and robots this time so I think it balances out. What were you really expecting though that made you so disappointed with this one?

If you recall censorship used to be pretty bad back before we had an ESRB because no one wanted to offed the stupids and attract the ire of those people who were at that point still focusing on rock music, violent action movies, and comic books. Then Mortal Kombat came along and ruined everything for everybody and after a major shitstorm and some congressional hearings we ended up with ESRB and censorship kinda died back down.
That's not to say it wasn't happening it just wasn't as much as a big deal and so long as a game wasn't getting an AO it could do basically anything it wanted.
But it's back and as a result Xenoblade X is got this black mark on it that you can't just wipe away. You can try to ignore it and tell yourself you don't care, I mean they censored away Albedo's knife in Saga on the PS2 and that was kinda worse, but you still know what's been changed you still know there should have been a booby slider in there, and telling yourself it doesn't matter or you don't care isn't going make it go away.
It's just regrettable and stupid, but it's the game we got and that's better than nothing right?

Nintendo is just being smart and realizing that Zelda fans want remasters enough to pay full price for them, and they're taking advantage of that fact. I doubt the Sony remasters have enough demand on them to charge full price, but you can bet that Sony WOULD charge full price for them if that was the case.

The breaking point for me was the launch of the Wii U back in 2012.
Ever since then I've been front and center watching the spoils of Neo-Nintendo from 2008 onwards culminate into what we have now.
I predicted 3D World, NoA's increasing incompetence and memeage, amiibos (Pokémon Rumble using figurines), Sticker Star and Awakening being shit, and the slow DLC and F2P integration.
People get the idea that I'm a shitposting sonygger, but I have legitimate qualms with Nintendo the way it is right now... Except to me they are no longer Nintendo. They are Neotendo now. It's a brave new world out there now.
The last Nintendo anything I own was a 3DS XL. It was given to me as a gift. I didn't go out to seek one. I have played nearly all 1st person IPs on the handheld through various means. The 3DS library is decidely mediocre.
I have a friend whom I pass by occasionally and Ive played on his Wii U. The only games Ive earnestly enjoyed were 2/3rds of Nintendo Land and Super Mario Maker. Everyone admits its just a $300 Tr4sh machine. So really from here on out its just nothing but Tr4sh.
I feel sorry for several people who bought it but the indignation comes from REAL Neotendrones who honestly defend the system and eat nothing but shit.

I stopped with Nintendo at the Wii/DS, that generation was awful.
I bought a Wii U about a year ago thinking it would be good because of Bayonetta 2 and Mario Kart 8
They were fun games, but the Wii U was still trash and didn't even get any other support for games like Monster Hunter 4.
The Wii U games then started to focus on plastic toy games, so fuck it, I dont care about plastic toy shit
I would've kept my Wii U if Twilight Princess HD was just a remake with a justifiable price and did not come with a plastic toy

Nintendo, for all its flaws, is still vastly better than any of the other consoles and AAA devs.
