Bronze packs have around a 55-60% chance of giving a single permanent unlock. Doing them first is the fastest way to get rid of your commons.
Buying golds or silvers don't give you more armor pieces, they just give you a chance to get rarer perm unlocks, so it's better to knock away the lowest packs and get them out of the way for least time spent.
Just sell all your reqs if you don't play warzone.

Dude seriously don't feel bad for using combo assist, it's balanced in a way that doesn't really give the middle finger to experienced players (youre still very vulnerable to someone who has assist off and knows command lists off by heart) but still serves as a really nice gateway into the game, its kind of like bike stabilizers, theyll help you get on your feet for now but youre not gonna be pulling off anything skillful or speedy with them on

It is completely apparent that MS went full-Jew with Halo 5 given all the cut features and emphasis on paid online and Warzone and its microtransactions. Fuck, you can't even setup a LAN game anymore because the Xbone itself doesn't support it. It is 100% clear that MS/343 didn't give two shits about fans and just wanted to get as much money out of this game as possible. We had many shitty years, granted, and I am still mad at Ea and bioware for Mass Effect 3, a little bit of me inside died when I played the game. But like I said, 2015 has been a good year and a step in the right direction, there were so many good games they overshadowed the abd ones and I didn't even had time to try all the games I want to play that came in 2015, it's crazy.

In Halo Reach and 4, and even 3 to an extent, you could pick out your individual pieces of armor. You can no longer choose individual pieces of armor in Halo 5, you're stuck choosing a set. Cosmetic I know, but it's still something they dumbed-down for no fucking reason whatsoever.

You are certainly entitled to your opinions. I won't argue with you and tell you to stop liking the maps or the campaign because that's just, like, your opinion, man. My gripes with the game stem largely from its seemingly intentional lack of functionality in pursuit of more money.
Halo 5 is missing lots of functionality, there's no subjectivity there. You have your single-player, offline campaign, online co-op campaign and single-player online MP. No offline co-op, no online splitscreen, no local custom games, etc. Halo 5 simply lost a lot of functionality and value as a video game. I can either play the campaign offline alone, o I can play online with randoms/online friends. I can't take my console to my buddy's house and play with him. I can't hand my fiend a controller and play with him he needs to buy his own console, copy of the game and XBL sub.
It costs over $2000 for four people to play Halo 5 in the same room now, and you're fucked if you don't have a top-tier connection because there's no LAN either. Being FORCED to buy an XBL sub to use your own fucking local network is fucking bullshit, there is absolutely no defending this. PS4 did the same shit, both Sony and MS locked out LAN intentionally to sell more paid subscriptions.
