Boom and Mega Man were canned because Archie blew all their load on a failed kickstarter and they're doing damage control by cancelling books that aren't pulling them big numbers.
Maybe if they didn't put Mega Man in constant cross overs and have shit artist dedicated on it they wouldn't have this issue.
Ian Flynn was also a shit writer for Mega Man. I don't care how good he was for Sonic, but his work was garbage for Mega Man.
