Dude Soup is a fucking mess. Nobody sounds like they're having fun when the discussion starts. It's just policing each other and acting like an ass to try and make a point. Everybody thinks they're too right about everything.
RTPC is slow-paced, the conversation feels natural, and they have people who can think fast, have charisma and aren't all ego. They have anecdotes. It sounds like they enjoy what they do. Dude Soup has the embodiment of autism with a list of who-gives-a-fuck topics, featuring his dad who he's trying not to disappoint and his schoolmates who he's trying to impress. It's basically a rantcast for one man.
It's tense, dry, and not fun. They need to chill the fuck out on the opinionfacts and just have a natural conversation. Though considering what kind of bullet pointed document of things to talk about they need, I feel like they couldn't hold a 30 minute conversation if they wanted.
RTPC is rarely video game related, though. It's definitely guilty of being a podcast about nothing.

One one of the RT podcasts they implied that Jeff gave Fallout 4 a bad review (He gave it 4/5 on PC and 3/5 on PS4) purposefully to gain attraction to giantbomb. They did this while they were all wearing pipboys and just after having done a fallout 4 promotional video paid for by Zenimax.
When their own subreddit shit on them for it they doubled down on stupidity by claiming they didn't know that Jeff had previously been fired from gamespot for refusing to give Kane and Lynch a high score due to publisher pressure and then continued to imply that Jeff may have given fallout 4 a "bad" review on purpose.
