i downgraded and everything was going perfect until i got to ctrbootmanager. i started my 3ds and it would just put me at the menu. someone said to change theme and then reinstall menuhax but only the homebrew launcher comes up. i read everything over but im not sure what im missing

You reinstall menuhax FROM the homebrew launcher.
You need to have the file you renamed to brew names as boot in order to install menuhax, though. Once you reinstall menuhax, then you can rename it to brew again and the new boot file will allow you to hold L and boot into CTR, and then RxTools
