It is my GOTY since FO4 was shit and MGSV was good, but not great.
My only issue with TW3 is the pacing. Everything up to the Bloody Baron quest is interesting, but after that it kind of loses that spark for awhile, until the Battle of Kaer Morhen.
Also, too much of the quest design relies on using detective vision to follow a thing to find a monster. The writing and dialogue is really the high point of the game, though. Especially when compared to FO4, which had the worst writing of the year, IMO.

Too repetetive. I had fun for 50 hours but because it's a 100+ hour game I received it as a pretty boring game, one of those you can't stand to play another 10 minutes. I also think they should have dumbed down the sidequests which sounds pretty dumb but having an elaborate story and detective/batman part for the dumbest fetch quest was too much.
If I would care enough about characters and story it would have motivated me to finish it though.

It might be GOTY, because nothing else really knocked it out of the park, but its not my GoTY because the combat was really boring and bland. Almost everything else about the game was like 7 or better, but the combat was painfully boring. That and exploration was pretty unrewarding in my experience. The one thing it does better than almost any game is side quest presentation and how everything feels polished and intentional. Sadly, the central game mechanics are the worst part, and it drags it down.
MGSV is my GOTY, being pretty much the opposite, but MGSV has the best pure gameplay of any action game I have ever played.
I don't have a PS4 so no Bloodborne.
Fallot 4 was an enjoyable experience, but has problems and never really hits any highs. Even though it is probably the best, I just don't think I'll look back on it as fondly as F3/NV/Skyrim
