pogs were a fad in north america, cardboard circles like Tazos but smaller. The game was created in hawaii where a passion fruit drink called POG was sold. People would collect the cardboard filters and made a game out of them.
It was kind of stupid, the rules were both players stacked their Pogs like chips in the center and each player used a larger metal coin pog to throw directly into the pile.
Any pogs that landed face up from the impact went to the player, in play for keeps rules you kept them.
This caused collection autism in kids and it was a huge fucking thing for a very brief period in 90's.
