Is the first rebirth game worth it? I played the first non rebirth one way back when and it was absolute garbage, it was the worst fucking RPG i've ever played, but people seem to love the franchise so i feel i'm missing out.

I'm not really sure wether i prefer her or neptune. In general i feel that rb2 is such a diffrent game from rb1 and 3. Having genki neptune as the protag for the darker game simply wouldn't fit. The same goes for having the weak and PTSD'd nepgear as protag in rb1. just wouldn't work.Uni is my universe

Well, it's both. Same core but many things are different.

That's what I did, worth for me. But keep in mind that I'm really into CGDCT and love the characters.
You also get to see Nippon-Ichi and Gust who aren't in Re:Births and may not return anymore.
