I finally fucking did it /v/. I finally got that bloody Benevolent Leader achievement... I was stuck on that since two weeks after the release.
Took me a total of 331 hours.

OP here. I've put in about 2,500 hours on New Vegas both on 360 and PC. I just like my open-world post-apocalyptic vidya. Only about 1,300 hours in Fo3 thougg.

I know the game is pretty buggy with cheevos, I did House on my first playthrough and didn't get my achievement for it.

I'm not sure if they are deactivated just by installing mods but maybe a mod or two might change the trigger inadvertently. I think that cheats may disable achievements and maybe something is being picked up as a cheat though. I have been playing new vegas for years and still don't have most of the achievements even though I have completed the requirements multiple times. If anything, I assume FOOK-NV or NVSE fucks it up though.

Console Commands prevent achievements in most games for that session. Mods could break it as well.
