I really enjoyed it but they botched one of the two endings.Here's this really emotional ending where Max realizes she fucked up but uses her powers responsibly to avenge Rachel's death and send the pedophile to jail at the cost of Chloe's life.
But there's also the lesbian ending where Chloe lives but everyone else dies. They didn't even bother to put a new song here, as much as I like Obstacles that was bullshit.

I enjoyed it. The dialogue was a bit cringe-inducing at first but you get used to it once you understand the characters/world a bit more.
It uses the rewind feature very well and you really feel it when it's taken away from you temporarily, which is actually quite interesting because most of these types of games are like that as standard.

Endings are shit, ignore mostly everything in Episode 5 as it was a rushed mess, the devs ran out of money and put a huge cop-out in instead of properly finishing a lot of things.

It was originally a French developed game. For the PS4 and Xbox One release, Square Enix did a full remaster. The PS3 version looks weird because the mouths were modified to say more words than simply "wee wee"

The gameplay is typical tell tale type stuff where none of your choice affect anything but superficial responses. You either like it or you don't. What it has for "puzzles" are pretty barebones, but they are there.
The art direction, licensed soundtrack, score, and atmosphere are all really top notch and pretty much carry the whole thing. It probably had one of the most endearing styles of a game last year.
Unfortunately the story falls apart really quick and it feels like they either didn't have an outline when they started or they did and they strayed from it. There are massive plot holes that are never resolved, plot elements are added and dropped at random, and the ending is completely arbitrary and makes the whole game feel like a waste of time.
I don't regret buying or playing it. The experience was good, but it could have been a much better game than it is.

It was just a shit ton of filler bundled with the heaping shit of the binary ending. Nothing actually happens, you don't get any choices or anything, you just ride the railroad to the last choice which conveniently involves destroying every other decision you make, regardless of direction you chose. It was a legitimately good game up until they phoned in the ending, because MUH BUDGET, MUH IMAGINATION ;)
