I only played a few.
P4 was fantastic, but i think I only liked it because of friend simulator aspect. I tried playing FF6, but I reached the point where you get thrown into the ocean and I didn't save so I kinda stopped. I played a few tactical ones, I liked FF:T and tactics ogre, that lost dimension one of the vita.
What else should I try? I hear that Cold steel thing was kind of persona-y

It's kind of on the cusp of true cRPG and turn based strategy but I really enjoyed Wesnoth, the default campaign has a cool story. Also it's free.
