Shop equipment upgrades every 10 levels, staggered by 5 for weapons and armor. Different manufacturers have different augments on their products, and leveling them up also changes and improves what they have. Dropped equipment can be any level.

On the other hand, it makes it easier to drag around and level up some party members that you never got around to using. I scooped up a bunch of quests from NLA today so I decided to take my level 45 avatar and level 18-24 H.B./Alexa/Hope for some quick leveling while I knocked the quests out. Even if the monsters kill your team in a single blow, it's usually easy enough to solo them from inside a skell.

Honestly, for the Suids in particular I felt like it was pretty obvious that killing them was the right option. There are a lot of indigens on Mira that are either brave or inquisitive, or sometimes both, and they get hungry. Having a Suid nest that close was a danger.

Most of the choice based missions I've completed have gone fine, except for the Wrothian one wherethat girl runs off to Cauldros. I got tripped up because I thought the outcome hinged on my dialogue choices, not finding an item around the base. I found out too late. It is my biggest regret.

How much evade do you need on a Skell to reliably dodge the ultrafauna again? 700?
Is there not any level 60 skell weapons aside from superweapons? I'm not seeing any in the shop
I have two questions.
1. Why are light Skells so shit? I jacked mine up with retarded amounts of evasion and they still never dodge a thing and die quickly. Heavy skells look ugly but they're really good and tanking hits is more effective than 'dodging' them.
2. How do I keep the screen from blurring until I can't see shit when activating overdrive?
Bonus: Why are there no audio options? The dialogue in cutscenes is really really quiet while everything else is loud in comparison.

You can get level 50 weapons as drops that are considerably more powerful then the ones sold in the shop though. Pic related.

I've found better use with the light frames+Lailah myself. I haven't even geared myself fully up with augments, hardly at all actually, and with Lailah I've got about 300 evasion, plus a shield that boosts Evasion. I can take on and evade most things up to around lvl 80-85 Tyrants.

It's random on art use, the best you can do is use low cooldowns, and no double slot gear.
I've heard mentions of Potential effecting your chances, but I haven't noticed that at all.

Is it worth actually wearing Skell ground armour over regular ground armour? Skell ground armour has pretty low defense, so enemies my own level wreck me pretty fast if they target me.
I'm only asking because not all fights can be fought while piloting a Skell.

you either grind out 8k+ reward tickets if you instead dont want to farm monsters and something that took me quite a while to figure out as i tried to find out where to get the shit need is that some of the mats especially that vita core or crude mask thingys seem to only be obtainable through the time attack missions things.
and yes treasure sensors does seem to help make getting the drops at tad bit easier

It's pretty pointless in the end anyway. You get good enough to not fuck the skell break QTE, you have endless amount of money and miranium at the postgame since for everything good you need to either farm monsters or reward tickets. Not to mention if you are preparing for a tough fight you can just reload a save if you fuck up and lose your skell.

Cut out most of the "fluff" like affinity and soul voices (since you only use them for about 1/3rd of the game.) and so on. Expand on party banter and have characterization just happen in cutscenes or naturally through talking, like Vermintide, if anyone's played that. Because the fucking game seems to go out of its way to encourage me to fiddle around for hours looking for affinity mission markers and dumb crap and stop me just exploring.
