I lost faith after unity, if that's what the French one is. I don't care if this game is far better than unity, or doesn't even compare, I've just no care at all for the story anymore. It was cool at first but it's an over used whore at this point. Honestly, they don't even need to use the animus shit anymore, just let the game be set in that period. Probably the best gameplay/mechanics/graphics of any assassins creed. Story was boring and socialist assassins was weird and out of place. When they started talking about how they needed to put regulations on people I was lost. Evie was shit. 8/10 thoroughly enjoyed myself when no one was talking.

Well I haven't played Unity lately, but back in 2014 they only looked nice when standing still. Shit was choppy, pop in was everywhere, and bugs kept fucking up things. Did they patch it?
Best ac since 2. Loved it. Definitely want a sequel in Spain or somewhere. Great fucking game. Could have used a lot more enemy variety though

You never did that in AC2. You're thinking brotherhood which was a step down from AC2.
Syndicate is nothing like AC2. AC2 was a character story with assassin gameplay being an afterthought, it was a journey from when you were a teenager to an adult. AC2 had by far the most history put into the environment, and you traveled to all different location with each of them being unique and different, all different flavors of color.
Syndicate is like every other AC2 game (except AC2 and Black Flag) where the setting and environment is just a backdrop and nothing more. They just want to throw you into historic moments. They also all take place in just one big city that looks the same all over.
