Can people not remember things that happened even just this past generation? Sony is notorious for taking a while to get their first party momentum going. Their exclusives are coming, and are in fact the greatest strength of the brand. The PS3 is a perfect example of what happens when their huge number of studios begins releasing their flagship titles; the console clawed its way out from the bottom, which paid off immensely. While Nintendo and Microsoft were both extremely front-loaded, PS3's waves of fantastic exclusives are what gave it legs and caught it up to the 360.
The same sort of release schedule is poised to happen very soon. Obviously the difference this time is that Sony doesn't need this boost to become competitive. This is how Sony operates though, and is a big reason why they usually dominate the market. It's strange that people seem to be completely oblivious to this. Do that many people really not know anything about generations before the PS360?
2016 onward is going to be an awesome time for PS4 owners :)

Things aren't looking great for Xbox One
Let's consider some facts here:
