How will we ever have a year in gaming like that again, it makes me so fucking mad. 97 was close to that too. Look at how many series began there, look at how many released what were considered some of their best titles.
We've had a few good ones in the new century, but not a year like that. I'd say 07 is the only thing that comes close, and it all turned into a letdown anyway.
