Overall, it's better to upgrade your PC. You'll get better performance and it'll be cheaper, as the games on PC are usually cheaper and it's easier and more efficient to pirate them on PC. But if you really can't afford it, then there's nothing wrong with that. You'll get worse performance, but that's not the of the world. There's Bloodborne and other cool exclusives coming to PS4.

I own an XBone, and that thing only got the most recent games on sale for like 25% off or 50% off max, and older games still were full price like H:MCC.
(Don't know about PS4, but I know for a fact sales on PS3/Vita was complete shit, and PSP games were still full price)
