What is the best way to get 40000 echoes? I want to get the Blades of Mercy as quick as possible.
And, does the Iosefka's Clinic skip/glitch jump still work? I saw it in a couple of videos and I just can't make the jump.

quite honestly, this game is stale, boring, repetitive, and non challenging
everything good about dark souls was gutted in order to make it a "gotta go fast" piece of shit
stamina is absolutely retarded, you dodge everywhere with no effort. It's not punishing at all if you fuck up a dodge because you can just do it 8 more times with no worries
there is absolutely no item progression to speak of in the game. for armors, the first hunter gear you find can basically be considered your general BiS gear in all but a few fringe cases/boss fights. there are literally only 2 weapons worth using at all, not only due to the fact that they are the most overpowered, but also effortlessly attainable (saw -> ludwigs)
the environment and atmosphere is nice for the first 30 minutes, then turn to repetitive shit with occasional fresh scenery. "hurr hey what should we do with this area?" "I know! Let's pile a bunch of stupid fucking stone statues of people all over the place like the last 20 areas we did that in!" "How brilliant!"
the bosses are repetitive in appearance, predictable in behavior, and not challenging at all
90% of their appearances can be described as amalgamations of spindly limbs, hair, and blood
90% of their behaviors can be described as a windup followed by a period of aggressive slashing
fights are a retardedly simple as dodging forward diagonally during this windup and attacking until out of stamina as they wail away facing away from you
and that's only IF you haven't found out that half the bosses are even easier to kill than that with oil + molotovs
and even that's only if you haven't figured out that most of the time you can summon MULTIPLE coop npc to basically kill the bosses for you while you run around with your dick in your hand listening to the boss themes (quite literally the only redeemable aspect of the game)
If you're a hardcore souls fan (demon souls/dark souls 1) you will be disappointed

after the main story playthrough, hows the end game ?
I wish they expanded on how Insight changes the world. Kinda like something from the World Tendencies from Demon's Souls. Yeah, we had certain enemies get new ways to fight and small aesthetic changes like crying baby everywhere and Amygdalas appearing but I was hoping for the world geography to change as well.
Maybe have it that the statues at the beginning were angelic in appearance with all the references of churches, it would be neat to have those typical religious imagery you see from Western religions then as insight goes up, the eldritch statues start to replace what you initially saw.
That and maybe have certain NPCs and certain special NPC hunters appear depending on your insight. Would be cool for players to be rewarded to see the truth before you beat Rom if they pursued to farm Insight.

Don't worry about it too much, the game tries to hide the blood echoes inside an enemy and if that doesn't work it'll drop them on the floor.

Always. Go to the Hunter's dream and enter the house, then hit X on the table to the right of the altar thing in the center.

Hit an enemy from behind with a charged attack and like you said, they will be 'stunned'. Whenever you hear that specific stun sound, you can visceral an enemy by getting close to them and pressing R1. Sometimes you have to get close to the head of an enemy or something to do that though.

Weapon upgrades are done in the Hunter's Dream. You remember that room in the mansion where Gehrman was sitting? Should be the table just right to the little altar in the middle. Now initially you can only give flat upgrades but after finding the Blood Gem Workshop Tool you can start adding modifiers. Like giving it a boost in strength when you health is full and such.
As a side Caryll Runes are the equivalent to Rings in BB. But you need the Rune Workshop Tool before you can start equipping those.
Backstabbing isn't gone but it's much harder. You have to fully charge attack an enemy in the back then R1 them while they're staggered. Which means backstabs are more rare and most visceral attacks will be done via gun parrying.

When you die your echoes drop on the floor, and you have to pick them up to get them back. If there's an enemy nearby they'll pick them up and you have to kill that enemy to get them back.
That's it.
I pretty much always get matches were I do way more damage because I ground gems.

I like it, but some criticism about the repeatability are correct.
Still a very good souls game with with a crazy Lovecraft atmosphere. The dlc is important mostly for the additional weapons. Some of these are glorious, but it's a struggle to get them at the first run to make a build. Anyways, at NG+ you can enjoy the game more (still a nuisance get there).
Bosses are usually easiest of the standard, but the gameplay is solid and the difficulty properly. People scream a bit too much about the difficulty reduced. Players are becoming more clever and now know what to expect at every game, know how to avoid the pitfalls, traps and must be careful at every step. Right now , the only way to make the game more difficult is to make it unfair.
My first souls game was Dark Souls and i remember that Demon's Souls was flowery field by comparison, but only because I already knew what to expect.
