When you hit your personal SL goal there's no real reason to take invasions too seriously. Not that guy, but there's a certain angle of approach where a block is guaranteed to knock you off. You have to make sure that you're perfectly parallel to the wall. The problem is that most players instinctively auto-aim their shields at the archer, which causes the momentum to knock you off.
