Do you think #FE will be localized in NA?
It's done very poor in Japan and it's a niche market and I can only imagine the struggle marketing it here in The US to mainstream audiences, considering that the niche market they were aiming for is basically nonexistent in NA.
If the localization isn't already significantly underway, it will definitely be cancelled. The game sold poorly in Japan and it won't sell at all in Burgerland.

Fairly recently the game was promised for "2016" in Europe/US still. So if they cancel it now, there would be a lot of bad feeling.
Fatal Frame was localized, and that inevitably sold like shit (worse than #FE I think).
Game will only get bad press in the west on an already dying system, and it just doesn't have the same appeal as XBC, to hold it up.

FE8, FE Awakening and FE Fates all feature level grinding instead of limited exp, which makes them incredibly easy mode.
Instead of having to think carefully about where you place your units in respect to both offense and defense, you can just grind them up so that they literally can't be hit or take damage.
Furthermore, Fates even introduces a Phoenix mode, which revives your units after they die, so you don't even have permanent death.
if you want to get into Fire Emblem, I really suggest you give Fire Emblem 7 out ("Fire Emblem" for the GBA).
It has a 10 mission long tutorial campaign where you play as the best girl in all of the series, and it really gets you into the mechanics of the game. I fucking loved playing through it on my CFW PSP last summer, and playing FE Awakening right afterwards was frankly a dissapointment because it took out so much tension
