The blue PS2 discs were CDs, while the other were DVDs. I'm not sure why they are blue specifically.

If there's an actual reason, it's probably the very same reason PS1 games were black.

IIRC, it's fixable, but I dunno the fix since I bought a slim (and I got a fliplid) to replace it.
