Games are on a 2 year dev cycle, Syndicate was probably 50-60% done by the time Unity backfired.
Either way, Syndicate launch was much less broken than Unity. Ran better, no crashes or retarded bugs.
AC can't simply be fixed by skipping a year, they need to overhaul the combat mechanics which means losing its audience. EA tried the same shit with Need For Speed.
