I need a solid RPG, already played Witcher 3 and Fallout 4. What else is there? Is pillars of Eternity any good? Any other titles that should be considered? I was also considering playing the Witcher 2 but the graphics are so dated

You can console edit you damage output of the sword. So make it low dmg and then increae it as you go.
Failing that there is a good sword mod that has an upgrade system for almost every sword in the game, level 1 into 2 into 3 and so forth. So low level swords can be upgraded as you go. I dont know how viable they are in the end game and how they compare to upgraded relic blades though.
