I found myself cringing every other cutscene, the entire of under the sea was an embarrassing pain in the ass. Every character was not only annoying, but made me think to myself "Do I really care about them?" and by the time the multi-wave hollow fight in Twilight Town rolled around and its accompanying cutscene/s I actually went "I don't care what happens to these people" because the characters and story was so annoying and unlikable that I put down the controller after finishing the fight and never touched the game again. I never actually went to Pridelands or any world after that because the characters, story, and worlds just grated on me so much that the combat couldn't even save the game for me.

I always thought the controls were worse and the combat feels like your whacking enemies with foam sticks. I do like the greenery in the environment even though its boring without much variety. In skyrim each hold was distinctly different. In oblivion you have the mountains and the shitty swamp and the rest is just forrest and green hills. I can understand not liking RPGs for their construction or design, as turn-based battles or min/maxing equipment aren't for everyone, but disliking them because of numbers determining outcome is pretty silly given that that's the backdrop to which all games function.

I got into morrowind without having played it as a kid, so youre wrong about that.
I had to put it down and come back to it later like 3 times before I was finally able to get into it though, the sheer enormity and open endedness of it can be quite overwhelming at first. Really glad I stuck with it though because it became one of my absolute favorite games.

I loved Oblivion when it came out, and heard that morrowind was even better, so I tried to play it, but just like you I put it away like 3 times before actually getting into it.
I think it's hard to get into because of the older mechanics n shit. Missing constantly, having to rely on your journal and reading shit tons of text can be hard to get into, but at the same time those are the things that made it stand out for me (except maybe for the constant missing, but that goes away once you build your char up a bit).

I replayed and beat all gta's excpet SA because I couldnt do airplane controles on keyboard before gta 5 came out and all the stories and missions are ass except the DLC for 4.
Counter Strike. Mainly Global Offensive, but I don't much care for the series as a whole.
Dark Souls, it was alright I guess, it was just really slow and clunky, and required trial and error or constantly pacing it like a snail to get past all the traps.

I enjoyed things like Thieves guild or those edgy murderers (although i think oblivion closed door murders quest was textbook example of wasted potential), but god those games are so lacking in ways of delivering content. Everything always feels so fake, cheap, empty.
Seriously, i simply fail to understand how people can glorify those games so much. Those games aren't *bad* but i certainly don't think TES deserves fame it got.On the other hand i loved New Vegas despite same engine as (bad) FO3. Probably content was just delivered in 'good' way.
