What has that to do with being a casual? Most bosses have been nothing but hug them and walk around them in one direction to avoid getting hit. Even a dipshit can do that.
Dark Souls 2 bosses aren't really that difficult to start with, The Pursuer is the only early accessible game boss that gives a challenge but only if you're under leveled and don't know about the ballista trick.
DaS 2's difficulty is in the number of enemies. Even the more difficult bosses in the game are only difficult because they throw extra enemies at you.

The game seems longer than the other games, for sure. It just doesnt have as much depth.
There aren't really any memorable bosses at all. The only ones I can remember are asshole-face smelter demon, Najka, and the Pursuer.

It just gets easier from there honestly. I think the boss that gave me the most problems in the vanilla game was the giant Rat Sif ripoff, because of the small rats that will inflict toxic on you. Any other boss that's difficult is unfair difficulty

Pursuer's a pretty easy boss to parry, too. I tried grinding his parry-able attacks on a whim one day I could reliably parry him after about a dozen deaths, maybe less.
One these days I want to try a parry only run, as in only killing parry-able enemies by parrying.

Playing through it on ps4 makes me wonder why do they change the enemies placement? Some just don't make sense, they removed alot of enemies in some areas, and in other areas like hides tower they add the knights. It's baffling. Is the dlc changed as well? I never played the dlc in original dks2

Yeah so here's the kicker, apparently you can't repair item durability at the bonfire if they break. I'm a full magic/faith deprived with no attunement slots & no weapons.It's kind of hard pushing everybody off ledges
