I'm not saying he's the bast character ever, but at least early game he has some good factors like his relatively high hit, high damage output, and the fact that he has pierce on pretty much all his weapons per standard. The fact that you can quickly move him into any role to get an extra of that role, in the middle game, isn't too shabby either.

Another save, I made him go on Tidus route, and pretty much made the game a breeze with one using Slowga, the other Hastaga, and then both spam Quick Hit.
