"Hey son, have you sold those Steam cards yet?"
>>
So how many hours did that take?
>>
Nope. And I never will.

Fuck Valve and their blatant exploitation of austists and retards.
>>
>>322486394
More than I can count, but I used Idle Master and Steam Inventory Helper.
>>
At 10 cents per card it'd take almost two thousand cards to make that much out of them. And a lot of cards cost less than that.
>>
>>322486909

>not exploiting them along with valve

what are you, some lawful good moralfag?

congratulations, thats like 4 hours of work that required like 200 hours of idling, right?
>>
>>322488138
$32/hour doesn't sound like a bad deal.

Where do you see this calculation?

Just sell the cards and items as soon as they enter your inventory and enjoy the few dollars extra, it's what I do.

And no I don't care if I could make more money by trading and crafting badges or some bullshit, I work 40h/week and I don't feel like getting a second job that earns me $1/h.

And only in steambux.
>>
>>322490981
I guess there's ways to cash out by buying TF2 keys and then trading those for real money, but yeah.

where does it show? it only lists how much i spent, not how much i gained from the market

I was wondering why it was so negative but I remember that I bought TF2 keys in exchange for games
>>
i have like 100 holiday cards after two people gave me all theirs they hoarded

how the fuck do i sell these things, please say there's an easier way than doing it one by one
>>
>>322496247
enjoy losing all your cards in 24 hours fuccboi, ahahahaha
>>
now just account for electricity cost
>>
>>322496247
get Steam Inventory Helper, you can do a mass sell
>>
>>322497218

which is negligible if you just idle shit with a lightweight program and do something else or just play vidya in the meantime
>>
>idling for drops
people still do that?
to get 2-3 items worth less than 10 cents out of csgo/tf2?
>>

huh
>>
>>322497509
it's only negligible if you're still using the comp those 200 hours
>>
>>322497870
That adds up you know.
>>
>>322486102
Wow good for you!

And how much of that can you put into a real wallet? None? Hmph, thought so loser.
>>
>>322498174

>200 hours
>implying

also, do you really think that your computer uses that much electricity?
>>
>>322498565
Still have to take it into condierstaion, do you know how much per hour it takes to run?

A lot of fagget bitcoin miners made stupid rigs that sucked up more power than they made.
>>
>>322498247
....yaaa no
I keep my own way of making 5-10€/week as opposed to TRASH selling for ~1€/week
>>
>>322498436

but if you buy vidya for funny bux, your real money stays in your wallet and, essentially, somebody else is paying for your games
>>
>>322498565
not saying it's enough to put you in the red but it could tack ~30 bucks onto your electric bill
>>
>>322499164
>A lot of fagget bitcoin miners made stupid rigs that sucked up more power than they made.

this is something that is negligible here precisely because this is not bitcoin mining. that shit places a fuckton of workload on your rig because of the ammount of calculations you have to do to mine a bitcoin. idling cards just takes one small program that just makes steam think you run the game and it's only activity is a periodical check to see if there are any drops left. essentially, your computer is pretty much on standby
>>
>>322499454

see >>322499534

you can put your computer in power saving mode if you really want to and still be able to idle with negligible cost if you configure your power saving settings correctly
>>
so what's the best way to earn steam bux? I guess just selling cards isn't good enough
>>
>>322498436

But it is fun!

Like a game of capitalism with a free other game every month or so.
>>
>>322500030

The thing is son, if we tell you how to make steam funbuxs then everyone will do it and it will stop being viable.
>>
wew
>>
>>322500030
CSGO items and whatever these guys will tell you
>>
>>322500030

I used to trade in TF2 luxuries. I'd trade a key in to TF2warehouse and get a certain amount of points. That in turn would get me 5 items (particularly botkiller reskins). They sold for about 1 dollar each on the market, and since a key only costs about 2.40 on its most expensive day, I'd make a 100% profit every time. It got even better when someone usually traded in a super rare item, like a botkiller with a fancy strange part attached to it, and I hocked it on a trade server for double its value. I did this for years and funded my entire steam library off of an initial 50 dollar investment seed. I'd say it was pretty profitable.

It's like >>322500207 said though. I was dumb and told everyone about it, and then they all did it. Then it stopped being profitable.
>>
Best place for very quick trades?
i need some gems for dota2 which are cheap as fuck, and i have other cheap as fuck trash to trade, but i don't know where to do the trade FAST.
>>
>>322486102
Wait, you're buying cards, then reselling them? I've just been buying games. Is there a guide tot his shit?
>>
