Regardless of your opinion of Tarantino, in order for someone to be "the Tarantino of video games" they would have to have big mainstream success while regularly incorporating elements of classic gaming into everything they do. So no, Suda51 definitely doesn't apply.
Pretty sure no one does. Tarantino's combination of mainstream success and independent creative control is almost totally unprecedented in practically anything.He's also way too talented to be comparable to pretty much anyone in the video game industry.
