They didn't even mention how the game was tied to your FUCKING CPU CLOCK SPEED. Your CPU either had to actually be the right speed or your had to trick the program into thinking it was. If it was lower than it needed to be, the entire game slowed down, and if it was faster, the entire game sped up.

MIDI sound depends on the synthiesizer the system uses. The Playstation 1 used a Yamaha something for its SPU, and PCs of that time period rarely spent a lot of cash in those components, unless you had a good sound card.

I thought the PS1 used a Sony sound processor, descended from the one used in the SNES (also made by Sony). Yamaha's equipment was mostly for PCs at that time, and FM synthesis on the Mega Drive beforehand.

No. I remember being on the hype train for GTAIV and thinking the Saints Row 2 fags were out of their minds for thinking SR2 would be better. Then they came out and SR2 outshined GTAIV in every manner but graphics and GTAIV felt gutted compared to San Andreas.

Well, I never said anything about raw graphical quality, but by 2008 open world standarts GTA4 was great looking. In fact, please name a better looking open world game of that year. GTA4 had one of if not the best open world graphics until probably either Sleeping Dogs or Saints Row 3.
