It plays nearly all of the Week games, its the AAA shit like uncharted that doesn't work. Every single Weeb game I've bought on my vita works on the PSTV. Most of the PSP games like fate work, but there are a few that dont. But yes, both of the games you mentioned work.

1) Yes.
Most of the games that don't work are games that released in the first year of the Vita's life and are western games. Pretty much everything else works.
Notable execeptions are: Nep rebirth 1, Fighting Climax, Moero Chronicles.
2) It plays the digital PSP games and most work, but some do not.
Konami PSP games don't work like peacewalker, Gurumin doesn't work, and AC last raven doesn't work.
