The mission where the city is attacking, and the last 2 ones are the only redeeming one. Getting into the ganglion base, defeating ares, and then having an entire skell army for the final battle was great.

Are you serious? There was nothing of consequence during any of those moments. The only tense moment during the attack on NLA was when that one faceless soldier sacrificed himself to stop the missiles. The Vita was a complete and utter waste, Lao turning into nemesis 2.0 was absolutely fucking stupid. There was no buildup to anything. Rhyz and dhagan were a flash in the pan with no apparent motivation or purpose, same goes for goetia. You see her skell for one battle, then its gone. Fucking stupid that her skell is featured in that promotional artwork where it looks like its some gargantuan mech, it's just a normal sized fucking skell.
I put over 100 hours and am max level in XCX but it was honestly the weakest xeno game by a wide margin.
