If the only thing you didn't like about doing light was the lack of parkour, then no.

I hated dead island but I bought this game not knowing the same devs made it and Dying Light is my personal GOTY. It's really intuitive and really fun. Great game

You can repair it on the field with one button, 4 repair limit on purple weapons will last you forever, plus you can reset repair limit by doing an escort side quest. Weapons with 3 repairs you just throw away and get any other that laying around.

No they didn't. It wasn't as strong as dark messiah one to begin with. Dropkick on the other hand is though, and it's still as powerful as ever.

Yes, it is much, much better than Dead Island. Good gameplay, the le parkour is intuitive when you get used to it, and the writing is occasionally, actually very good.
For instance, at the start you are working forle cliche mysterious and sinister govt agency who asks you to do increasingly dubious thingsrather than follow them blindly for the greater good, the MC eventually just tells them to go fuck themselvesIt actually happens pretty early on and after like only the first time they pull bullshit
