The singleplayer's good, no more doing sidequests. Been having a blast playing Bounty Hunter. Thinking of redoing the Sith Warrior or Inquisitor storyline next. There's a fuckton of cosmetics now so you can RP/ERP.

If you're just starting out you can literally skip ALL the sidequests and focus only on main missions so not really. The added exp boosts will usually make you out level the zone you're in. The story missions are your average mmo quests, activate this panel, kill 10 creatures, etc.

Played on launch, the sith warrior story was god tier and the leveling overall was OK, but the PVE of every kind sucked dick, and nothing at all happened in the open world. The BGs were good though

The problem is there hasn't been a new op in a year, a new pvp map in almost 2 years, and a new gsf map since gsf's launch. There was a roadmap stream a couple weeks ago where they said that there would be a new pvp map announced (not launched) in Feb, but as far as the stream went it was all single-player story content until August. Because of this, many of the old players who have been around for years and already did everything are leavingincluding most of my guild ;_;
