H /v/, welcome to 2016. What're you playing today?
xenoblade chronicles x as soon as I'm done eating breakfast
>>322251561
Exanima
fun game, new arena mode is in beta
Gf made a great breakfast while I played nuclear throne. So comfy
>>322251628
>>322251694
Good morning, anons - slept well?
Also, how's Nuclear Throne?
>>322251669
Huh, this actually looks pretty interesting - is it an ARPG?
>>322251867
Permadeath dungeon and an arena mode
The main draw is the physics based combat system which is honestly fucking amazing, hard to get used to though
Then again I am a massive autist for realistic melee combat/realistic medieval shit in general.
Look up some videos to get an idea of what im walking about.
>>322252416
they look kind of disturbing tbqh
>>322252403
Ah, okay - interesting. Slow and heavy combat. I might give this a try sometime - is it in Early Access?
>>322251867
Probably spore or gta v, finally getting my sleeping schedule back in order so that's good. How was your New Years anon?
>>322252643
yeah, but its got more then enough content for the price atm and it isnt unfinished feeling
hello
Deus Ex. New to the game. Made it to Hong Kong and done some missions. Not as enthusiastic as I was 5 hours ago but I'll definitely stick with it.
Distance and Darkest Dungeon
>>322252806
Pretty great! Hosted some friends for dining and drinks, watched the firework in my town at 12:00, drank some more, played cards and went to bed. It was lovely.
>>322252817
Fair enough. I think I'll still wait for it to leave Early Access, just to ensure I don't play it and feel disappointed by it not being finished.
>>322252821
The first Deus Ex is great if having a lot of choice in a game is important to you, hope you come to enjoy it!
GTAV on PC
TERA
Startropics (emulation)
Is all I have planned. I want to watch more of Mirai Nikki as well.
>>322252876
How's the difficulty in Darkest Dungeon?
>>322253192
Sounds like an overall fun time. How're you liking the PC version of GTA?
>>322253168
>The first Deus Ex is great if having a lot of choice in a game is important to you
I find I go down one route and then circle back and go down another route into the same area a lot of the time. by trying to be a completionist I'm breaking the pace that being a nanobotted up superagent should have., I just don't want to miss any skill points.
anyways: what have you been playing in 2016 OP?
Waiting for Syndicate to finish downloading.
I'll hold off on the 16 GBs of DLC for now.
Might play some Euphoria or Kara no Shojo in the mean time.
>>322253497
Yeah, I see what you mean. Not really a game meant to be played like a completionist the first time.
I've been relaxing with a bit of emulated PS1 stuff and LISA, mostly.
>>322253932
>waiting for things to download
fucking kill me now god damn
Dune 2 with Roland MT32
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQADZeB-z8M
Good good does it sound good with a Roland!
>>322253192
I wanted to add I'm almost finished with GTA, I'm setting up for the last heist.
Just been playing some metal slug (check steam) and fire emblem awakening.
Bretty gud
>>322253439
I went from playing the 360 version 2 years ago to playing the PC version. It's pretty awesome. Looks great, runs great and plenty of shenanigans.
Disgaea earlier, Probably gonna play Sleeping Dogs or Darkest Dungeon in a bit. XCOM EU sounds pretty good tooJust finished my first PC build and have a metric fuckton of stuff I've been hoarding on steam, so life is pretty good right now
>>322254117
Waiting sucks so that's why you find something else to do in the mean time.
Clean your desk, room, go up to the store for a dink, watch a movie, fap, etc.
>>322254048
is it the old FFVII? and I hope you like Lisa, I think the Painful was one of the best games I played last year. Haven't gone at the Joyful yet as /v/ doesn't seem to like it, but I will
>>322254203
If you do it loud you get more money anon, you gonna heist online? Randoms are cancer
Ive also been playing some grim dawn, I was always a fan of titan quest and its a big improvement desu
Insurgency and Gang Beasts.
Figured I'd play through VTMB for the first time ever. I already downloaded Wesp's patch.
>>322254314
Enjoy your new rig, anon.
>>322254117
Sounds like a prime opportunity to do something else for a while!
>>322254403
Nah, the Yu-Gi-Oh card game for the most part - I like something that I can mindlessly grind away at while relaxing and watching stand-up comedy.
>>322254541
How're you liking VTM:B?
I'm play Stella Glow right now. Can't decide whether or not I should go back to Fallout 4 or The Talos Principle first.
>>322255123
How're you liking Fallout 4?
>>322254764
>How're you liking VTM:B?
Well, it's certainly rough around the edges and the combat is just kind of eh, but it's understandable as it's old and was rushed out. The dialogue though is so damn good and the atmosphere is top notch in my eyes. The voice-acting and facial animations also are surprisingly good. I'm really liking it so far.
>>322255123
uninstall fallout 4 and never look back, not even mods can save this piece of garbage
>>322255235
I liked what I played, which was about 20 hours of it. I just kind of stopped playing it.
>>322255370
I didn't love the game but I don't hate it as much as you.
anybody got any screenshots they wanna share
Ive been playing something interesting, dark souls 1 using cheat engine to set the game to NG+ at the very start
makes it really damn difficult, but you also get shitloads of souls from everything
just finished anal rodeo and have turned on perma gravelord phantoms for extra fun times
>>322255295
Yeah, it's very much a diamond in the rough - but it's pretty unique. Glad you like it.
>>322255425
Yeah, same on my end. I went into it expecting another Fallout: New Vegas, but it certainly isn't that. I'll let it rest for a few months, I think.
>>322255571
Dark Souls is only pain and suffering for me so far.
>>322255774
>perma gravelord phantoms
That shit is insane, especially on NG+7 with extra aggressive enemies. I tried it after watching a couple of other people try it together and it's soul crushing.
Been playing NaissanceE, Anti-Chamber, and Memory of a Broken Dimension.
>>322255123
all I can tell you is TTP is great. maybe one twentieth of the people who try it find it too pretentious but the rest seem to love it, myself included. frankly the only game I ever set my mind on 100%ing without gamefaqs, I liked it so much
Downloading all the content packs for Xenoblade Chronicles X before I start playing. Dunno if it'll be done in time for me to get any time in actually playing before I go to bed, but I hope so.
I started Witcher 3 on Death March NG+ the other day to play the DLC so I guess I could put some time into that while I wait.
>>322256165
I liked the game a lot but I just stopped playing it near the end. I don't usually do that so I'm not sure why I did.
Failing miserably at DoDonPachi and gonna play Ys I in a bit since people say the series is good.
>>322256126
explain NaissanceE to me if you please
>>322255827
Want any tips re dark souls? where are you stuck
>>322256462
Nah, not stuck so far - just two hours into it so far and haven't had a chance to play since, but the only memories of playing the first time were of dying a lot.
I'm basically playing blind, but that's the way I want it to be.
>>322254408
I'm not sure, I kind of want to get the Jet. But at the same time I don't know anyone who's still playing GTA online.
>>322256592
This is just kind of how it goes with your first Souls game. Once you get into the rhythm of it, it's not so bad.
>>322256462
3-D platformer/exploration game heavily inspired by the aesthetics of the manga Blame!.
>>322256592
>>322256740
game gets exponentially more difficult the less attention you pay
just take things slow and pay attention to everything and youll be fine
>>322256395
oh I thought you hadn't played it at all. if you know what it is then it's probably just best to take it in whatever pace you feel like.Miltonbecomes less and less magicalfun fact: his first personality assessment is taken word for word from a psychological experiment meant to show why people trust horoscopes and such, wiki for "the Barnum effect" has the whole thingand... I guess if it's grabbed you by then it has. I felt almost a need to finish it
A little Dirty Bomb, maybe some Elite Dangerous soon. I bought Crusader Kings II on sale and I love the concept, but I have no idea what to do
>>322256771
holy shit a mega structure simulator? where can I get this
>>322256864
Yeah, patience and experimentation seems to be the name of the game, thanks anon.
>>322256953
Crusader Kings 2 is basically a dynasty simulator - there is no end goal beyond those you set for yourself. If you have the game on Steam, there are achievements to work towards.
>>322257859
>>322257337
How big is your animal folder
>>322258195
Not big enough. 80MB or so.
>>322258443
>tfw 3 gigs of knight images
>>322258589I'll get there one day.
>>322258819
wanna be steam friends
>>322259018
Sure, why not. Better than bumping the thread without contributions./id/NarfArf
>>322257337
Yeah, I know. I guess I'm just not in the mood for it.
>>322260118
That's fair. CK2 is very much something you need to have the time and patience for. Playing short bursts doesn't feel satisfying at all.
is town of salem good? i might try to sell my steam cards for it
I decided to go through my backlog and started Hyrule Warriors
My dick is rock hard from the girls already and the gameplay is pretty swell so far
>>322261265
Town of Salem can already be played in your browser for free
>>322261914
>My dick is rock hard from the girls already
That sounds like a nice motivation to play through the rest of it.
>>322251561
Jedi Knight 2 on the cuben
