Technically TvC uses 4 buttons since you use B to assist/baroque, same way you use the special attack button on Fatal Fury to launch enemies off to the other plane.

It's both. Technically it's proper to SPELL it Casshan, however that's PRONOUNCING it wrong, since the "ah" sound is emphasized and "Casshaan" looks awkward.

Yes. Bursts cost 2 meters and a chunk of health, but gave red health. But you could also combo from them. So you can get hit, burst, do a combo that builds two meters (possible with Zero thanks to baroque), get hit again on purpose just to burst and combo de opponent again.

Bursting to combo was common in the Jap vanilla version (Cross Generation of Heroes), but I believe they added crazy damage scaling to combos performed off of bursts in Ultimate All-Stars to make it less worth it.

TvC not living long was due to the fact that not long after it came out in America, Marvel 3 was announced. People figured "Why jump into TvC when Marvel 3 is coming out?" Not to mention that Marvel 3 was spread across two systems while TvC stayed on the wii and in japan, Arcades never got the updated version we got.
