ITT: bullshit sections in video games
>>322235759
Easy as fuck
>Did all 3 parts to it
>realise afterwards that I only needed to do the first one for the substory completion
well fuck
>>322235759
It is bullshit because most of us don't know japanese and don't know when his is gonna finish saying his line. That throws us off the most.
>>322237398
A lot of this game could be considered a bullshit section
Every mission in San Andreas' pc version that had any flying in it.
>>322235759
Yakuza thread or what? I'm confused.
>>322237572
Why does Yakuza not have a /vg/ thread?
>>322235759
Threads like these are only going to get more shit censored in coming yakuza games. The localizers came out and said "we're trusting everyone to be adults about this and find enjoyment in Japanese culture"
People like you are why those localization horror stories happen
>>322237916
It's flavor of the month (or two months, since the game is fucking long and some people are still playing it) and it probably wouldn't survive on /vg/ for too long
>>322238000
Why? Because he finds a section of a game bullshit?
If a section is bullshit it's not being a child or disrespecting the culture in which it takes place in.
>>322237916
For as popular as Yakuza is, people realize that a vast majority of the games have simple stories and clunky gameplay.
>>322237197
>need to do all three for 100% completion
>>322238260
Speaking of 100%
In a Yakuza thread a couple days ago someone said that as Saejima there is a missable substory (before going to prison) Can anyone confirm this?
>>322238404
I guess he's talking about the two you do at the fighter maker dojo
apparantly you can still do them right before the end of the game but timeline-wise they clearly take place before Saejima goes back to prison so I dunno
>>322238404
He does. Its in the dojo.
>>322238000
I'm sorry I dont like a thing about a video game?
Nice trips though.
>>322238153
He finds it bullshit because he's not interested in learning about another culture. It's really, really easy if you know the culture.
You're being a child if you can't deal with that. Enjoy your neutered games, though.
>>322238153
Even the Japanese players didn't like the comedy duo substory.
>>322238539
Speaking of the dojo, this fucking asshole is why I'll never 100% Yakuza 4
>>322238404
You can still do that one in the Finale: Chapter 2
Just walk to the dojo and it triggers
To anyone still 100% ing the game
How the fuck do you win at pool. I'm aware of the puzzle pool guide on the jp wiki but the only thing I've beaten is advanced 9 ball
>>322238649
Even if you understand how manzai works, you still have to know when a sentence actually ends, which you wont if you dont speak moon. And you have to be able to time it right, which is even further exacerbated by the fact that most players dont understand how Japanese sentence structures work, so they have no idea how to actually time a response because they dont really know when to respond.
Not only that but the scoring system seems kind of fucked, you could have the exact same performance in responses and get different results.
FUCK.
EVERYTHING.
>>322237398
What? That entire train section was easy and fun.
If you want bullshit, you could've at least posted like half the boss fights in the game instead.
>>322237916
Because /vg/ is shit and promotes circlejerking.
