In a matter of comparison, Tales of games sell really good on the PS3, like 200k or more. 90% of those sales are from day one.

Nope, you confusing Nintendo series, which usually have a very strong lasting effect, with other niche games. Mario, Pokémon, Splatoon, Animal Crossing, etc keep selling for years and years. Not so much with other games like Bayonetta or Wonderful 101.
