Destiny pulled off enemies just fine without being bulletsponges.

Flying missions alongside other players with specialized classes for wings would be fun, but not on an MMO level where you spend all of your time time dicking with menus and hotkeys.

not normal enemies but pretty much every boss up until TTK was a bigger version of normal enemies that were bullet sponges. TTK bosses are still bigger versions of certain enemies but they have better gimmicks that dont make the fights with them so boring after the third time
