Downloaded this recently and I'm loving it so far. Bought it on a whim so I was really surprised on how much there was to do and how fun the game as a whole is. What's everyone else's opinion on this game?

They need to go back to just Kiryu doing Yakuza stuff. Extra characters can be fun but for some it can be a pain in the ass to do their chapters. If they want extra characters it should be premium game or last chapter just for funs and not story related just their own substories.

Considering the subtitles for the past few games have basically implied that Kiryu is going away, I doubt he'll be the focus of yakuza 6. That protag they showed was literally a mash-up of Saejima, Shinoda and Akiyama with Kiryu's face.
What I -really- hope for, however, is that they hire on Kojima, and the game becomes about the death of Kiryu and Saejima and Akiyama's interpretation of The Dragon's will over a 40 year period, ending with a wedding.

Nothing has ever implied Kiryu will go away. You say this shit every thread. Kiryu is the face of the Yakuza franchise. He's a main selling-point, he's marketed the most because of that, and that won't change. He's not going away. And the guy in the 6 trailer is clearly Kiryu. The hell is wrong with you?

Saejima is BB and Akiyama is Zero, obviously. Akiyama is the money man and Zero had the Philsopher's legacy. Saejima is also the most ideal yakuza in the world after Kiryu (the boss), who sacrificed his right to glory for the great good (gave up the chairmanship of the Tojo = dying as an enemy to the U.S.)
I think what's most retarded about the Yakuza story is that this dumb MGS shit maps on quite well.

I made sure to do everything except the hostess stuff in each city while I was playing the game.
There's 5 slots for hostesses in the completion log, though. Who gets two hostesses? Does Haruka hang out with a host?
