Going by that logic DS is more like csgo with a sword.
It may be good since its using Bloodborne assets, but we'll see if it has a "Collect all Miracles" thing which needs online components. I'm not too excited about farming individual pieces of armor either.

Wrong, A-Team is making From's next PS4 From exclusive, DS3 is B-Team again.
Hopefully it's good, but I'm not going to have super high expectations. I made that mistake with DaS2 and thought it was going to be an 11/10. I mean, on the surface it looks better. More weapons, more mechanics, more levels, more online options, etc etc etc. But it was (IMO) a big letdown. A decent game in its own right, but nowhere near as good as the other souls.
No doubt DaS3 will be a good game (hopefully) but I'm not going to get hyped for it. I'm just going to go in with low expectations like I did when I originally bought DeS all those years ago. Went in not knowing what to expect, and got blown away with an amazing game. So either that happens again with DaS3, but if it's mediocre, at least I wasn't overhyped for it.
There are so many problems with DaS2 I could list, but one that I really want to emphasize is how... unsatisfying it feels to control your character. I hate ot use a bullshit buzzword like "gamefeel" but I honestly can't even pinpoint why it feels so wrong. And it's not just adaptability that's the issue. Everything feels sluggish and loose, and I don't even know why. DeS and DaS1 just felt so pinpoint-precise and tight in the way they controlled. It was so responsive.
