All his shit is an interesting brand of weird. He even worked on a bunch of kid's games that are disturbing as hell, and even his most dedicated fans can't find copies of some because of how limited in production his stuff was.

Someone gave me a rough idea on /vr/, I can't confirm any of this is true. From what I'm told the game is basically this.
It takes place in a dream/limbo world called Garage, which appears to be a large flooded cavern/marsh. In this world there is a massive shanty town of rickety wood, Japanese signs and metal. It sort of reminds me of Blight town in Dark souls.
This town is inhabited by odd looking robots simply called Machines, which are restricted to moving along railways spread throughout the town, though they can use their arms to jerk themselves off track to a certian degree.
These machines are linked to entities called Shadows, which look like deformed (yet lewd) japanese women (though males exist) which function as souls for the machines and are contained within life support systems. It's not made apparent if the robots are simply remote vessels for shadows to interact with the world or if they're simply both the same being with two personalities (think the Golden Compass).
The story is about a robot who's fished out of the marsh with no memories of who he is. At first this robot just does odd jobs for other robots for cash, like fishing up frogs from the marsh. As you progress through the game you learn of a crisis that has befallen Garage. A serial killer robot simply known as Yan once terrorized the town, targeting female robots to dismantle. When the female robot population plummeted to a fraction of the male, Yan began to murder their lingering shadows.

Apparently there is no law enforcement in this world, so when Yan started murdering Shadows he did so at the local theater to entertain other robots.
This senseless killing of female robots severely affected the world, as Female robots produce two vital resources for everyone to survive. They lactate (through robot tits) oil necessary for machines to survive and they generate water, which sustains the world.You spend the game trying to track down Yan, along the way you meet a female robot who's been turned into the last water generating female. Her shadow is the one in the OP, whom you meet before her robot body. Yan wants to kill her, and in your quest you discover that you are in fact Yan, who has been split into two machines with one Shadow.
After discovering your and healing a fragment of your shadow (looks like an Ethiopian), you confront Yan and defeat him in a button mash game. At this point you learn that you can "awaken" from Garage by merging with your shadow who is located in a cave. In order to reach this cave however, you must flood garage which will kill everyone. So the games leaves you with the choice of killing everyone in garage so you can awaken from it, or staying with everyone in Garage

I played this obscure game as a kid that I wish I could remember, but I've never met anyone who played it.
It was the first person adventure game set in what I think was a sci-fi setting, and the puzzles in it just made no sense at all. And I don't mean that in the sense that they were badly designed (although I'm sure they were), the actions you do and the outcome of it seemed to be completely unrelated and almost abstract. Like it was designed by aliens.
If anyone can remember it from this vague description that would be great. I think the name was pretty weird as well.
