>he doesn't game on a mechanical keyboard
No, I don't. I write with one, though.
>>322100891
Yes, I play on keyboard I bought for 5Yuros 5 years ago.
>>322100891
I got the cheapest keyboard at Wal-Mart
Brown switches master race.
Am I crazy for actually preferring membranes?
I honestly don't see the fuss in buying a mechanical, they're just loud and offer no real benefit besides the tactile difference.
So it's more a matter of subjective opinion than them being straight up better.
Anyone who fell for the "gaming is better with a mechanical" meme is a damned fool.
>>322100891
>not using a simple office keyboard
You sad little man.
>>322101030
topre master race
>gaymer keyboard
>>322101054
Of course it's a scam. If you like the feel, you get one, if not, you don't.
They are just a bit nicer to write with, I feel. But games? Don't care.
>>322101089
I am using that exact piece of shit keyboard in your pic at the moment. Fuck the enter and backspace keys, the windows bubble and lack of media keys
>>322101136
My nigg-
>blank keys
>>322101184
>lack of media keys
Doesn't your headset have those?
>>322101279
Quite honestly, the blank keys doesn't bother me. What does bother me is how often they seem to bring that fact up when they're advertising it. I still like it either way.
don't they have a higher resistince? enjoy your wrist injury from having to press harder you hipster faggo. Modern keyboards are objectively easier to use.
How pooper pained at life must you be to need to be enough of a hipster to get an inferior product for ~my feels~.
I don't game full stop.
Had this for 3 years.
It's cute, CUTE
>>322101539
Is this the 84 one? What switches?
best thing since the dinovo
>buying the mechanical jew
If you pay more than $10 for your peripherals you're a damn good goy, son.
>>322100891
10/10 keyboard.
>>322101054
It's objective that the key press reads faster and more accurately on a mechanical than a membrane.
>>322100891
>memechanical keyboards
I have a nice bluetooth dell rubbercap. The buttons are very nice and clicky similar to a mechanical keyboard and it has a super convenient calculator button + volume slider
Obviously the keyboard itself isnt as good quality as most mechanic keyboards since its rubbercap, but for now I'm happy with what I have.
Next time I have a good chunk of extra money from a paycheck I'm thinking of getting this www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823129019 (brown)

>being this big a console peasant you can't even afford/don't even have a decent keyboard
what the other dude said. I type every day for employment. when I had a membrane keyboard my fingers got sore. I was recommended a mechanical keyboard. I got one.
My fingers aren't sore anymore.
>>322102348
Whatever you say Shlomo.

>trying to look down on others when you browse wizardchan
Oh the ironing.
>>322100891
>16.8 million colours
They lied and it's 512 colours though
>>322101869
>low profile
absolutely disgusting
>>322102623
>full anime posting half chan plebs looking down on others for being more based
What reality is this and how did I get here?
>>322101869
I just ditched this keyboard for a novatouch a few weeks back. I prefer the topre switches, but it is nice being able to hover your hand over the keys and have the backlights come on.
>>322102814
>for being more based
Yeah dude you're so based for being a 30 year old virgin who autistically hates anime
I use the same mechanical Dell keyboard that came with my XPS desktop back in 2006. I've dropped it, kicked it, nothing seems to damage it.
>>322102065
It's hard to get a mouse that cheap with extra buttons, though. And extra buttons are just too convenient to have.
Mech for life, legends are for losers.
>>322100891
got a logitech G710+ a couple days ago
it's a bit loud, then again since it's my first mechanical i have no reference compared to other mechanical keyboards; but it feels really satisfying to press on the buttons
still, definitely not necessary to have a mechanical; but i spilled beer on my last and had to get a new one, and the G710+ was half price in the store i bought it at compared to amazon and goodbuys or wherever the fuck on the internet so eh, felt like buying it
though i like that it feels very robust
>>322100891
>mechanical keyboard cord is detachable
>recently, even though it's properly inserted, notification bar says unrecognized USB device
>have to remove and reinsert cable, takes 10 seconds to recognize
>annoying AF when playing games
It's not the cable because I have many and tried them all.
Need a new MechKeyboard, suggestions welcomed
>>322103256
>that style clashing with the numpad
>implying that looks good even aside from that
It's a keyboard not a mousepad you dip
>>322101437
>different manufacturers don't make their keyboards differently
my g710+ doesn't have high resistance
also, i doubt most people who buy them write novels and manuscripts on their comp
Got the Steelseries 6Gv2, shit works and was pretty cheap and doesn't have annoying ass lights.
10/10 would buy again.
>>322103256
i love everything except for the numpad
>>322103257
That shit is so ugly.
i just bought a logitech g710+ with brown switches. did i get meme'd?
>>322103438
The numpad was a color test. I intend also to get a tenkeyless WASD. I'll be moving the blue and red to that and doing something else on the new full size. I wasn't convinced that anything more than flat colors would look good on keys. I was pleasantly surprised.
Mech keyboard with your choice of switches and no extra cost for custom art. Win
