Unless you're made of lead you should not have any difficulty staying afloat as long as your lungs are full and you aren't thrashing around like a spaz. Even then you're still floating, you're just not keeping your face above the surface.

I can sort of swim. I live close to a beach and it gets really hot here inAustraliaso I should go to it more because I need the exercise but the ocean is pretty spooky and the amount of people there is intimidating.
