My grandfather and his family were Mormons.
He stopped being a Mormon the moment his wife died. She died before I was born, so I never knew her.
Of the surviving family, there were four brothers. One remained a Mormon and did so much bullshit that he basically became cut off from all contact from the other three, but they would welcome him back if he ever wanted to. He fucked them over many times in various ways, many dangerous. He remained a Mormon and moved to the States, while the three remaining brothers remained in Canada.
Of those three brothers, one married my mother. Their first two children, a pair of girls, were baptized. Their next child, myself, was also baptized. Their last, my younger brother, never was.
I never knew this until last year, but the Mormons were hounding me. They felt like I was their fucking property and would follow my parents fucking everywhere. There were times when I was younger than seven but remember us all hiding in the basement and pretending we weren't home so they would go away.
