When did you guys start playing Tekken?
Did you actually like playing it?
Started with Tekken 1. Been playing the games ever since. But for some inexplicable reason my asshole gets torn a new asshole whenever I play online.

Played since Tekken 1 using King and Paul.
Skipped Tekken 2 because didn't found it in locals and was busy playing other games in PS 1.
Liked Tekkn 3 a lot and Noticed how sexy some characters are.
Tekken 3 for me. Was one of my favorite games when i got a play station 1. Now i own Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for my PS3. Also best girl Lili.
T1. Chose king because wrestling was the coolest to me. I still use him today but I'm decent with half the cast.

Same. Tekken 2 was the first game I ever played, and I probably haven't gone more than two months my whole life without playing one of them.
Still suck. My friends can come over and get drunk, and kill me even though it's their first time playing.
I even bought a fightstick last year and put some serious hours into getting gud.

Tekken 3 is the second best one. 4 5 6 are okayish, not really worth going out of your way to play.
Tekken 2 is good too, but a bit dated, and tekken 1 is way too old
Tried playing when Tekken 4 came out, but I really was just trying shit and stuff. I liked the characters but never really dove in.
I really tried playing when TTT2 came out. Had no time to go out and my country LOVES Tekken so I was at least able to have connections within my country. Used Feng and Kunimitsu.
Now waiting for Tekken 7, I really wanted to use Xiao before but I felt I really wasn't up to par to use her. But now seeing her update in T7FR, I'm in there for sure.

Dad bought us Tekken 1, played every one since then. Started caring about gittin gud with Tekken Tag 1, on to TT2 and I can play as any character. Fucking love this series. Tekken 3 blew my mind the first time I played it.

Started with Tekken 2 here. Music is so GOAT in that game. What happened afterward? (Heihachi theme in Tekken 3 was bretty gud tho)
I just recently started getting into Tekken, I mainly play Soulcalibur though.
Right now I got Tekken 2, Tekken 5 DR Online, Tekken 6, Tekken Hybrid, and Tekken Tag 2.
I like Tekken 5 DR a lot.
Started with Tekken 3 and it legit the only fighting game I'm good at. I don't even play it that often, but I absolutely destroy my friends eaten if they're as good or better in most other games.

Obviously you can't block when you're being juggled.
Technically, your reset combo is possible in a real situation, but realistically, I don't see that working... This probably wouldn't work in a real situation The reason you floated with 1+4 is because she began to stand up just as you hit her.
But in reality, normally people won't lie on the ground for half a second and then get up the way the AI did. Normally, someone would either tech-roll or lie on the ground for a little longer.
It's kinda complicated and I don't really know how to explain it...

Nah I get it. I never considered that the 1+4 wouldn't work on someone laying flat delaying a wake up. I remember IGN's wiki saying 1+4 is a staple because "it picks opponents off the ground" but didn't really cite any criterias.

For it to pick opponents off the ground, they have to be tech-rolling backwards,
rolling backwards normally
or in the middle of their get-up or animation, or wake up kick animation, like in that webm
You can also land it juuuuust before your opponent hits the ground to create a reset combo, just as long as they don't tech... But this takes a tad bit of practice and might be a little advanced right now
For now, I'd just remember that 1+4 is great for catching people tech-rolling backwards, or just back rollers in general.
After finishing a combo or when your opponent is lying in front of you, if you predict that they're gonna backroll or try a wake-up kick, 1+4 will scoop them right up.

I'm a big fan now, but I've only been playing since 5DR. I played the Tekken 3 demo as a kid and had friends who were big into it, but I hated Tekken back then. Even now, I don't like any of the games before 5DR.
