That's like the most unimportant garbage I've ever seen
Fuck your immersion, you should be happy you can even take off your boots

dumb animeposter
>>322000886
What game does this?
>>322001157
It sounds like you'd be satisfied with whatever garbage lazy ass developers put out because you should be happy you even get to play their game, amirite?
>it's a animefag
>can't shut the fuck up

Most all of them
>>322001291
It sounds like I don't give a shit about minor details that don't affect my gameplay in any significant manner
I'd rather have them focus on improving important things rather than adding such stupid fluff
>>322001309
Wrong, there isn't a single game that does this.

>I play an RPG for the gunplay

Does what, what OP is complaining about or what OP wants to see? Most games don't have such complex barefoot mechanics
>>322001554
>hurr durr only the shooting counts as gameplay
Don't act like a fucking retard if you want a serious response

Both
>>322000886
What game doesn't do this? That seems like a lot of extra work from the dev for something most people will likely never see/notice. I mean, I'd appreciate it, for sure, but still...
>can go barefoot everywhere
>NPC's don't take notice and treat you differently

You're on an anime website you double niggers, go back to reddit.

whats reddit??
This seems like it wouldn't be hard to fix even, when you think about it
if (inventory->bootsSlot == NULL) {
sounds->footsteps = sounds_footsteps_barefoot;
anim->walking = anim_walking_barefoot;
}
It may be even easier depending on the language/engine used

It's clear that snake case is used for constants and camel case is used for variables

>ruining beautiful code with an ugly and shitty IF statement thrown somewhere for no reason just to satisfy an autist
You either the take elegant approach and implement a system that makes different sounds for different boots and different floor combinations, or bust. Don't litter code with meaningless one-time snippets like that.
>>322007784
If that were the system being used, it should be even easier. Just add a "none" entry in the "boots" list and add the sounds accordingly.
It's less likely there's a system for different walking animations per boots, so that might need an ugly one-off if statement.
>change gear in game
>appearance changes
Still one of my all time favorites.
