PC has always been a niche platform home of console ports and meme pseudogames. It was like that during the 80's, it was like that during the 90's, it was like that during the 2000's, it's like that right now and it will be like that in the future.

If you think this means anything, you have no clue about PC gaming.
PC has by far the largest userbase and selection of games. The entire undermeme fanbase is probably in the magnitude of 1% of PC gamers. Games like this crap can peacefully coexist along with casual trash like facebook games, MOBAs, AAA games while also having people who play grand strategy games, hardcore flight simulators, engineering games, and so on. A hundred games come out every month that you never heard about. And a thousand more indie trash too. You can literally pick a niche genre and have enough games to play for years.
Undertale has barely any effect on PC gaming, and all the other styles and genres keep going on regardless.
