Minato is better than brotag, because unlike brotag Minato's a character with some modicum of interesting traits where brotag's just an idealized faggot with zero flaws. Beyond that, great game overall, but I wish the guys had social links outside of P3P FeMC route. Hanging out with Kanji was fun in P4, and I would've liked to spend time with Shinji, Akihiko, and Junpei. Maybe Teamkiller too, but eh, could take that or leave it.

I knew it had VN parts and all but shit was taking too long. All I've done in that time was go into the stupid dungeon and fight the same lame ass shadows that are weak to my only attack, three fucking times. The rest was all text/cutscenes.

I started devil survivor over clocked and smt 4. I gotta say they're pretty fun games. I got stuck really early on though on Medusa in 4. I might just get back to playing it when I beat p3.

Persona 3 has such a great soundtrack. I love how tartarus's music changes slightly on each level leading up to the 6th floors track. It really shows pregression through the game.

I got to the second section of Tartarus and just stopped playing. No longer fun. More work than play. It was my first time playing and I was using the social link guide anyway because I could not be bothered with the random bullshit. Why the fuck should I miss large portions of the game just because I didn't see someone on an exact day.

If 20 more hours of tartar sounds fun, go for it. Don't play it for the plot. And when you don't care about the plot, Yukari's shit is actually amusing

If you want to do others you can always play again in NG+ an do them

By far the worst Persona, compared to it Persona 4 is... "Golden". The "Dungeon crawling", if we can call like that a fucking tower 200 floors high, is obviously the most linear ever seen in the whole MegaTen franchise. Social links are introducted here but they are too fucking complex. The wrong answer can fuck up all the work you've done until then. The fighting system is just confusing and YOU CAN'T CONTROL DIRECTLY YOUR PARTY. That's the biggest flaw a JRPG could have (Yeah i know P3P solved this, but what if someone wants to play FES?).
Also Minato is an edgy fag with the characterization of a chunk of wood. Yu at least has that special something that makes you empathize with him.
