And yes, I do believe the old method required a legit copy of the game to get on the modded servers until Take Two told them to fuck off for using their server code or w/e and then the modded server owners made it so that all versions (Legit/pirated) could play.

I hope battlefield 5 goes back to the roots and removes the retarded calladuty free-class gun progression in favor of at least 3 unlockable weapons per 5 unique classes, also removing any semblance of commander mode from BF2 and BF4 (never played BF4 I heard they brought commander mode back though), while focusing on making actual huge 64+ player Battlefield maps instead of call of duty-style small levels that rely extensively on gunplay alone.
